ok, i have a porc. puffer at work, whose had this ball like fungus ill call it for about a week and a half now, and the treatments our store allows us to treat with is definately not working. we are only allowed to use Clout, which i think sucks, even for freshwater, and it doesnt treat his symptoms. i know this kind of fish is prone to getting ill. the reason we re not allowed to use other medicines, is because of the copper and other metals they have in them, which can hurt inverts and other saltwater inhabitants (some salt water customers still use the water in the bag and add it to their aquarium, so we dont want to hurt their system. what im wondering is, will a fresh water dip help get rid of these ? theres 4 of them. other then that hes eating like a pig and being very active. im doing water changes to make sure his water is healthy. i just dont know what else to do! hes not getting worse, but hes definately not getting any better.

My fiance got promoted to management at a local family restaurant chain and now works crazy hours and is gone a lot more. This week he has been gone from 2pm-12:30am or later. Prior to him getting this new job we would always put our son to bed together and have done this pretty much since birth. With my fiance schedule constantly changing week to week it makes it hard on both my son and myself. He is usually a great sleeper but tonight he will not go to bed no matter what I do. He cried on and off for 2 hours. I sang to him, read him books watched mickey mouse clubhouse together, gave him a bath.He is getting teeth but it's never really bothered him that much. He kept saying daddy or doggie? (they're both close sounding the way he says them) It's only this week that my fiance worked straight the hours I stated above. He has worked this shift a few weeks ago but it was only a day or two. My fiance works 2 Midnight shifts in a row coming up this april which he will be gone from 9:30pm- 7:30am or later. this is very stressful on both my son and myself who are both used to him being here at night with his family. I truly think my son misses his daddy he only gets to see him a short few hours before my fiance leaves for work. He loves his daddy. During his crying spell when I went to sooth him he kept saying "daddy" or it could have been "doggie" they both sound the same coming from a crying 15 month old learning to talk. My son is still awake as I write this and I don't think he will go to bed until his daddy comes home from work. :( Poor little man I wish he could tell me what was wrong then I wouldn't have to get advice on here. Do you think its him missing his daddy and that is why he will not sleep or could it possibly be theething? Can my employer treat me like this?

I was 8 weeks pregnant and miscarried my child. My miscarriage was not normal I bled heavily and ended up needing a surgery to control the bleeding. When I returned to work I went to our H.R. manager because in our handbook it states 3 days of paid bereavement are given to all employees with the company for at least one year for loss of: and then states all eligible immediate family. Son/Daughter is on this list so I requested bereavement pay. The president of my company declined to pay me and also made the statement that he was not paying bereavement because it is like those that fight for abortion, you may abort up until the second trimester so is it or is it not a child. I believe just because of the way it is worded in the handbook that he would have to pay me the bereavement because I meet the guidelines and then change it in the handbook for future employees. Am I correct? Also, In his e-mail (which I printed and took with me before I walked out) he made the statement that if I can't read the writing on the wall how we have had to cut back hours, lay people off, and try to deal with the current economic crisis and if I'm willing to fight it then do what I need to. I was upset and angry I have had to deal with the loss of my child and now the loss of my wages, so I went to my immediate supervisor and told him I couldn't do it any longer, I also made the statement this isn't right and there is no compion for the people who work here. My supervisor's exact words were "You just need to get over it" at this point I swiped my time card and walked out. Is there anything I can do?? I don't know if you have any animal welfare organisations that could help her find homes for some, but unfortunately the most likely outcome is that they'd seize them all and destroy them. My dad won't stop talking to himself, what should I do?

I'm the youngest of three boys in my family and my father is a stay at home dad who renovates our house by himself and does all the work of a homemaker. it is fine, i had to have my lungs x-rayed. my TB test was positive. but my lungs were fine. they waited until i was 5 months along, and then they put a lead vest over my belly so that nothing would hit the baby. and so far she is just fine, i am 36 weeks pregnant almost 37. i too was scared but they ured me it would be fine. if it is just your foot being x-rayed, there will no harm to the baby and you don't have to cover them up with a vest... i'm sorry you have a broke foot while pregnant.. that must really suck!

I am 39 weeks plus 5 gestation my due date is on Monday. My last child came on his due date because I went to my appointment miserable as any thing the doctor had ever seen and she stripped my membranes had me walk for an hour I dilated to 4 and she sent me over. However, had she not, my baby would have weighed over 10lbs he came in at 9.5 lbs at birth. I am having another boy, Here it is 2 more days until D-day and NOTHING, no show, irregular spastic contractions, and I've been at 2cm and 70 effaced for WEEKS....I've thought I was in labor 3 times and I was sent home all 3. I am becoming depressed and discouraged that I will never go into labor on my own, I have every thing ready....and I just sit around waiting for those first real contractions but they never come...I am sinking into a funk, a depression and I am starting to be resentful. I am just exhausted of the back ache, the feet hurting from the swelling, I can hardly dress myself, and I know for a fact this baby will weigh in over 10lbs.....is any one else in the same boat? any suggestions to help me cheer up would be appreciated..thanks a lot

Any moms out there get rid of their mom belly?

umm well my baby is almost 4 mths and my flab is just now starting to go away, slowly but surely..lol..of course some of us always keep the little pouche or whatever you call it below the belly on, that i still have, i hate. I have 3 kids and i think i look pretty good for that. I've always been active and was active during my whole pregnancy with this last one and almost immediately hit the gym after having him. I work out 1-3 hrs and do lots of crunches, pilates and yoga help a lot too. I do the treadmill for 30 minutes and I do another machine, i don't know what it's called but it looks like you're running on it and you can add the arms too, i always make sure i tightened my glutes and abs when i do that machine, i'm a firm believer that if you tighten up you get better results. Just have patience, i don't know how long it's been since you've had your baby but you'll be back to your old self again..you exercise and you'll be fine.

Im 13 years old, almost 14 and i have a large mole - like thing on my side of my nose its raised and im very self conscious about it. Its been there for as long as i can remember but in the last few years its been growing bigger. I went to a skin specialist but he said he couldnt remove it for many reasons. The first is he is concerned about the scaring, and the local anaesthetic hurting once its removed and he also i must wait 2-3 years for it to fully grow but because its annoying me so much i want it removed. Problem booting up windows account - desktop won't load and task manager disabled ?

I have had an issue with my media center PC for a while. Whenever I boot up it will not load my desktop, my wallpaper comes up but that is it. I usually hit ctr+alt+dlt and go to task manager and run 'explorer.exe' and everything boots up in no time. However, I turned it on today and my task manager has been 'disabled by my administrator'. Well I am my administrator so that seemed strange. I played around for a while and got nowhere. I then logged into the 'administrator' account built into windows and the task manager was enabled for that account (I have to manually run explorer.exe for that account too). The task manager is only disabled on my main account, not throughout the computer. A yahoo search of 'task manager disabled' turned up results, but none of them worked (manually changing regedit.exe and gpedit.msc). Any help here would be greatly appreciated.

I saw a young lady(I believe she is 25?)- and I do believe she is a lady- come i with her parents, as they have been doing for over a year. She usually doesn't drink much more than a couple of beers but this night someone bought her a few shots and before long she was very intoxicated. A man she likes (and has possiblly been seeing?) for a few weeks was also hanging out with her and her parents and the two snuck off to share a kiss in private. He is also a pretty good guy who her parents like. No one but me saw and they returned to where her parents were. She was loud but exxagerated her movements but didn't get sick and didn't even swear. Need strong opinion about lazer eye surgery?

Ok so I've been wearing eye gles since 5th grade and i've tried contacts in 8th grade but that didn't go to well and contacts and me do just not work so the only other option I have is lazer eye surgery but I'm not sure about having that. How can I fix the scroll on on my Acer 5680 touchpad?

I upgraded my Acer 5680 from vista to windows 7 and after lots of forum reading have managed to get the logitech webcam to work (by downloading the vista driver in compatibility mode) but not the touchpad scroll on... ive tried driver downloads from synaptics website AND Acer, normal and compatibility modes. Now i read Alps may fix but has sensitivity issues. Do you have any ideas? I'm not that techy so don't want to mess with the registry!
