Help! Computer keeps shutting off before windows loads.?

I recently rebuilt a computer with parts i had used before... everything seemed to work fine, but once the bios loads, and windows is about to load, the computer will just shutoff. I loaded the bios menu and was able to select 'last working setup' but computer still dies... any ideas?
