The kindergarten is too hard now?

My daughter is attending a kindergarten in CT. I felt the school is too hard, particularly the writing. They have a partner of writing each time. They should be able to talk about what they are going to write and share with someone about the writing later. Is this too much for a kindergartner? Or maybe just us.
