Will my friend ditch me?

So, my friend recently got ditched my some good friends, I helped him out. These good friends ditched me too on a journey to Paris for some girls. He gave me support. Now, they are all going to Spain with school for a week, and suddenly the good friends that ditch him act nice towards him again. Kind of ret*rded. The Q is, will my friend now forget what I did for him and ditch me for his old friends? Or am I overreacting?
