When does schoolies end on the Gold Coast?

I've booked a holiday for the 7th - 14th December. I know schoolies starts on the 22nd November and 'officially' ends on the 13th December. I'm wondering if the schoolies kids continue their drunken rampages until the last day (or longer)? Also I am a grade 12 leaver so I'm worried I may not be able to do anything/go anywhere in case people think I'm a schoolies kid as well?
